What an amazing trip visiting dear friends! But let’s be honest—after vacation fun comes the need to reset. Eating right and dialing back the indulgence is very real. That’s why I always plan a day off before returning to work… I already know I’ll need it.
While on vacation, I try to stay active—whether it’s a workout or turning the trip into an adventure.
That way, I enjoy my meals without guilt. I still practice balance: splitting portions, keeping calories in check, and yes… fully indulging in drinks and desserts.
Because life is meant to be enjoyed—but with control.
I love a good time, but I also thrive on routine.
This trip? A lot of bar food… and a lot of sodium. I felt it. My body was calling for a reset.
So I came home and did a natural cleanse—and wow. Game changer.
There’s something about a cleanse that makes you feel light, refreshed, and re-energized. Paired with a solid workout, it’s like hitting the reset button. Thankfully, I stayed hydrated the entire trip, so my body was ready. What I needed was that internal reset—supporting my system and getting back to center.
I planned for a three-day cleanse… but honestly, one day did the trick. The swelling went down, I felt like myself again, and I was back on track.
This week, I’ve committed to:
· One hour of sweat each day
· Plenty of water
· Juicing
· Balanced meals
By Tuesday, the five pounds I gained were gone—and even my neck pain settled back to normal.
That’s the power of listening to your body.
I truly cherish the relationships in my life and the memories we create. I’m so grateful—and already looking forward to the next trip.
